Midnight Oil – Head Injuries
A fierce, restless statement from the version of Midnight Oil that still sounded like they were ready to fight anyone in the room. Head Injuries is lean, sharp-edged post-punk rock with surf-snarl guitars, pounding rhythms, and Peter Garrett’s voice cutting like a warning siren through the mix. No stadium polish, no political lectures yet — just raw fire from a band refusing to stand still.
This is Oils before the world caught on, and it hits harder because of it.
