This is a classic 1984 release that was issued to promote the "Legend" compilation. Because it was released three years after Bob Marley’s death, the limited editions were produced with high-quality "posthumous" packaging.

The Deep Dive Details:

• The Numbered Picture Disc: If your copy is the UK Limited Edition (Catalog Number: 12 ISP 169), it is a Picture Disc. This version was strictly limited and individually numbered. Check the rim of the disc or the back of the sleeve for a stamped number.

• The Poster Edition: The standard UK 12 inch (Catalog Number: 12 IS 169) often came as a Limited Edition that included a 10x20 inch fold-out poster. The poster features the famous "Legend" album cover photo. Finding a copy where the poster hasn't been pinned to a wall is the key to high value.

• The Australian Pressing: The Australian 12 inch (Catalog Number: X 14063) was also marketed as a Limited Edition. It features the Extended Version of the title track. Look for the "Island Records" logo with the "Festival Records" distribution credit on the back sleeve.

• The Tracklist: Unlike the 7 inch, the 12 inch features the Extended Version (approx 7 minutes) mixed by Julian Mendelsohn. Side A: One Love / People Get Ready (Extended Version) Side B1: So Much Trouble In The World Side B2: Keep On Moving (featuring members of Aswad and Third World)

• Matrix and Runout Info: On UK copies, look for "12 IS 169 A-2U" and the name "GRAEME" etched in the dead wax. Graeme Durham was the mastering engineer at the Exchange who gave this specific 12 inch its deep, bass-heavy club sound.

• The B2 Rarity: Track B2 (Keep On Moving) was produced by Lee "Scratch" Perry. This specific 1984 12 inch version is highly sought after because it features the "Rydim" and backing vocals from members of the British reggae bands Aswad and Third World.
