Formed in 1987 by Mike Abel and Kevin Ingleson, Re-animator quickly established their sound with early tracks like "Follow the Masses" and "Push the Button," recorded at Hull's Animal Tracks Recording Studio in 1988. This demo captured the band’s initial collaboration and raw energy, featuring Abel’s distinctive guitar style and Ingleson’s rhythm work. Supported by Mark Dennis on drums and John Wilson on bass, the lineup laid the groundwork for the band's evolution. "Condemned to Eternity" embodies this formative period, offering a glimpse into the band's early development and underground metal roots.
