The Follow-up to Greatness: Following Hotel California was no easy task; this album took 18 months to record and was the band's final studio album before their 14-year "vacation." It features the debut of Timothy B. Schmit on bass, whose vocals on "I Can't Tell You Why" became a highlight of the record.
