Here is “Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy” by Elton John. This is a very rare MCA Limited Edition, only 2000 were made in 1975. The album is said to be the holy grail of Elton John Albums. Most copies were given to friends in appreciation of their support during his early years on his road to fame and success.
We have been fortunate to have two copies.
One is completely sealed never opened and the other opened but in near mint condition - the cover does have some wear at the bottom.
The Collector in us thinks we should let them go together. We are assuming an Elton John collector would love an unsealed copy and a perfect sealed identical one.
Message us with offers if you want them separated. We are open to that too.
These were both personal gifts from Elton to a friend who was a former festival record rep in Australia from the 1970’s to the 1990’s.
We have taken a lot of photographs.
This really is a golden opportunity and never will be repeated. There is none for
Sale currently in the world.

MINT - sealed
NM - likely never played - almost perfect
VG+ - light scuffs, light scratches wont effect play
VG - signs of wear, light scratches you can feel
GOOD - surface noise, visible groove wear
POOR / FAIR- some damage, causing issues like skipping & distorted audio
OIS - original inner sleeve
