Released in 1968, Donovan In Concert captures the Scottish singer-songwriter at the height of his psychedelic folk period. Recorded live at the Anaheim Convention Center, the album features rich acoustic performances, spoken interludes, and Donovan’s signature mix of whimsy, poetry, and gentle mysticism.
The setlist includes favourites such as “Mellow Yellow,” “There Is a Mountain,” “Celeste,” “Sunny Goodge Street,” and “Sadness,” all delivered with warm, intimate charm and outstanding musicianship.
Notes: Originally issued on Epic Records; widely praised as one of the finest folk-psych live albums of the 1960s.
